  1. You send the form. The fault, the suburb and a mobile number are enough. A photo can wait for the call.
  2. A plumber phones you back. You get asked a few questions about what you can see and hear, and told the call-out fee in rand.
  3. You decide. If you are happy with the fee, a time is agreed. If not, that is the end of it and nothing is owed.

If water is running where it should not, close the main stopcock first. It is usually beside the water meter at the boundary, or where the supply pipe enters the house.
